Just a quick announcement for all who come by my blog, well just 2 quick things, first off I added a new label "Edits Done By Me" which is just editing done by myself, I'm open to your thoughts and opinions on them if you have any. Next is my new joint project with Tonigobe, we are collaberating on a donor project, Rape Mother by Izawa Shinichi (head on over to his place for information or if you wanna donate! check my links for his site). I intend to use the money I make to get more h-manga translated, and from now on what's gonna happen is I'm gonna set up a voting booth later in the future when hopefully I have the cash and have a vote on what you guys want to see translated.
One Last thing I'm thinking of doing a donor project type of thing here on my blog. But the way it will work is that I would raise funds so I can get the scripts for the mangas and then edit them and release them.. This can be good for people who wanna see full books translated because all you would be funding for is scripts (which I would ask a translator to provide quotes for, such as tonigobe or kusanyagi) which is cheaper and more affordable. So yeah I'm thinking about starting something like that but I'm not sure. What do you guys think?

The donor projects thing could be cool. I have always liked the idea of having people chip in a buck or two here and there to eventually get something translated, rather than having to try and save up enough to commission a whole piece of work.
But I am a little confused by the scripts part of it. Do you mean that the actual pages of the manga would still have the raw Japanese text, and you would just release a separate document that tells us what everyone is actually saying? Or are you going to use the script to edit the pages of the manga to show the English text instead?

I would commission for straight text translations and edit the manga to show english text its the same as commissioning for a manga to be translated only thing is instead of the translator doing the editing (which you would get charged for) I would do the editing (which you won't get charged for)! lol does that make sense for you?
I think this is a really great idea. Seems like people could save money and time this way. If there was a project I was interested in, I wouldn't mind chipping in to see it completed.

Your idea sounds nice, Fayt, however, a useful advice, only give your paypal adress privately, by email.
Kusanyagi stopped sharing his paypal adress on his blog for obvious reasons, for instance.
In the worst case scenario, paypal could ban your ass for mingling their holy pure safe for work american company with nasty azn porn, eeew, bad.
On my homepage, I replaced the paypal button (2 days after I placed one, I got an official paypal warning) with the link to adult sponsors, the kind that give you money when someone signs up to their service. Sadly, it was the only simple solution :-/

I checked there before and sadly its being translated in another language, the one I'm doing with tonigobe is being translated into english which I would say is the majority of what people who read H-mangas understand.
