Well you all are very lucky, why? Well because I finished this edit and decided to release it right away. So without further ado I present to you with the first chapter of this amazing manga. Before I start, my thanks to Zathael for donating to the first chapter and Brolen the translator. This chapter is very nice and cute and funny, it's about a girl and her childhood friend and how the she gets a chance to be with him alone and you know what comes next.. personally I love this artwork... it's beautiful and just fun to read. Also just to let you all know this version is the decensored version. Anyways with this I will be releasing sayuki on monday.. so for now

Really nice, I like cute! Thanks to Zathael for funding, Faytear for editing and Brolen for translating. The Hentai manga reading world can use more of this.

After seeing the raws, I just had to donate enough to get the first chapter translated. I mean, in the first chapter alone we get a cute, short haired girl who loses her virginity and then her anal virginity right afterward, and she *loves it*. And there are still 9 more chapters of awesomeness to go! Thanks to Faytear and Brolen for your hard work on this.

At only $0.50 or so a page, getting stuff like this translated is quite a deal. So if you really want to thank me for funding the first chapter, go ahead and donate a dollar (or more) towards getting the other chapters done.

I did that this morning Zathael, now if someone else would join in.

I have the funny impression there's always the same people commenting in the same places ^_^

I thought I could drop a tiny thanks for this minor uninteresting release.

On second thought, internet makes people emo, i'm not sure the joke would have passed through, so let's make it clear : OMG NEW TERI TERIO MATERIALS THANKS A LOOOT ! :D

Easy Oliver, easy man! :p

But you're absolutely right about the same people in the same places and maybe we do emot just a bit too much, I try not to post if I have anything bad to say.

Thanks to Fayt, commissioner and the translator.
As soon as I sort out my PayPal issues the 3rd chapter is on me.

I compared 'your edit' with the one ghost55 made on the raw manga back on September 19th, 2008 (just google his site, page 5).
It is hard to compare the file size because of the translations, but both in resolution and quality they are pretty much the same.
I can't make out any differences at all, so I would like to know just what your editing consisted of.

@Anonymous: You seem to be a bit clueless as to how the whole translating/editing process works. When Faytear gets a translation from someone, it is in the form of a script, which basically is just line after line of the text from the manga, in English. The editing that Faytear does is to remove the Japanese text from the raw scans, and using the translated script, put the English text in it's place. So yes, the actual pictures are going to look very similar to ghost55's scans, in fact, that may be what raws he used as the basis for his editing.

Yeah, but I wonder how you can make it so fast v_v

I have put my greedy hands on an uncensored version of Kaiten 15 (the first of the Private Rissin Seminary volumes, and the best too), in japanese version.

In comparison, there is already an english version, but it is based on scans in terrible quality (pink and white instead of grayscale, wtf, and no more than 800 pixels high pictures), and the font used is almost impossible to decipher.

On the contrary, my uncensored japanese version is of top-notch picture quality.

When I have spare time and nothing else to do I'm mixing the two, replacing the japanese dialogues and writing inside the english version in a good readable font.

But it takes me ages, it can take more than five minutes for one speech bubble, that's discouraging v_v

If you have a trick, a way to make it faster, or you know a magical software or photoshop/gimp plugin, allowing to make it faster, I beg you, share the info :D

Oliver< hahah man I actually thought someone would eventually ask that question.. umm well first off I actually started using paint.. and got some practice there (maybe like 3-4 days).. but then I started using photoshop after seeing how bad paint was compared to photoshop.

I can edit a page in probably 2-3 minutes if there is no floating text.. or millions of text in there lol and well it kinda helps to know where all the text goes.. so then you can just erase all the jap text all at once instead of doing it one by one.. and then also since I have the text I just copy and paste.. I usually also have an idea of the font and font size that should be used in each bubbles.. so I donno, I've only been doing this for about 1 month really and I still think I'm a noob personally but yeah practicing got me here and my editing can be pretty quick (I also realized it's cheaper to commission for texts as well).

Most of the time I usually edit stuff a few hours before I release it (would do it earlier but have other stuff in my life I'm doing). There's still alot I'm learning even with photoshop but the basic erasing and putting in texts is easy, the more you do it, the more easier and faster it gets.. as for floating texts surprisingly enough I use paint to edit those.. I'm a pro at using paint so for floating text I use paint. Oh yeah I had no experience of photoshop about a month ago, even now there are still some tools I have no clue what they do, but even so I got down all the basics. I'm pretty surprised at myself at my editing because I've become better and better in a short amount of time...

So yeah its all about the little things.. just focus on doing the little things (knowing where the texts goes.. font sizes, stuff like that) and you should be able to get faster and better.

Sorry my bad I meant 4-5 min per page

@Oliver: SaHa redid the translation of Kaiten 15 a while ago, and used a more normal font to do it. However, the scans were not the best quality, if I remember right.
